Agnė & Neil — A couple of green-fingered enthusiasts
Hello, my name is Agnė Hogbin (yes, Hogbin's our real surname, we're not just a faceless company).
In 2003 I graduated from a Master's course in Environmental Science and did a Horticulture Internship in USA at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania and also Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I also worked at FitzGerald Nurseries & Micropropagation laboratory in Ireland. I worked for many years identifying plants for Floramedia, the European market leader in the creation and production of plant labels, packaging, communication and marketing. People say I have an encyclopedic knowledge of plants, I must admit I have spent many years identifying different plants and have got pretty good at it. Once recognised, I can then find the best plant care information and put it into practice. Also, when planning a new bed I know what, where, when and how it must be planted.
The University of Hawai'i Lyon Arboretum and Botanical Garden
This is the pathway to a visitor centre in a Botanical Garden in Hawaii. I helped construct the path which was designed for disabled wheelchair access. In 2016, I started my gardening business with my husband Neil, we have helped plan gardens that have beds and borders which weaved through the garden, with roses, shrubs, grasses, perennials and bulbs in purples, mauves, and pinks, with many carefully selected colours, from native to full-on shouty, “hello, look at me,” exotic plants, creating a theme of connecton. I loved using beautiful, eye-catching plants. With beautiful planting, included scented roses and herbs, loose grasses and structural hedges. I treat my customers gardens like my own, so that I too could see myself relaxing in the garden. Another reason why starting a gardening company is particularly important to me, is that I love to choose the right plants to suit the growing conditions, so that the plants will be happy in the environment.

Together we employ a team of great gardeners, with our team we are passionate about plants and beautifying beds.
We want to inspire our customers to reconnect with their outdoor space by taking care of all their beds and border gardening needs.
As a skilled horticulturalist with very good plant knowledge and leadership skills, Agne manages her husband and a team of highly skilled gardening staff.
We as a team are responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and development of your gardens.

Hello, my names Neil Hogbin.
In 2004 I graduated from my Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours at the University of the Arts London, the largest university in Europe to specialise in art & design. Worked for over a decade as a professional designer and now bring that wealth of experience to help make gardens as beautiful as can be. I'm also a keen artist and bring my artistic eye to designing with plants. Making your beds & boarders stand-out in a way that is exquisitely simple, yet full of intricate detail & wonderful to relax in.
Neil graduated from the University of the Arts London
I have always loved Art & Design since I was a young boy, today I channel my creative focus into both planting theory and practice. Inspired by nature, together with my wife we can create amazing planting plans. Demonstrating how soil, mulch, fertiliser and pruning are as important as plant selection. I also studied garden design and rose maintenance at the brilliant Beth Chatto Education Trust, which taught me so much about the essential building blocks of how to create bespoke gardens in Colchester; designs that will have an equal mix of shade versus sun-loving plants, and a strong emphasis on climate resilient species, that will bring vibrancy & colour to your garden throughout the year.
